Strategic Operations & Process Analyst

You will be at the heart of our mission to eliminate manual, error-prone and repetitive work at Maasterminal Maastricht. Using data and process analysis, you’ll identify inefficiencies, design smarter workflows, and implement solutions that move us toward fully automated terminals. This role is not about day-to-day planning, but about strategically transforming planning and operations to the level of world-class e-commerce logistics only our core product is steel in every quality, size, and shape.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and logistics data to detect trends, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
• Map, redesign, and optimize core supply chain, logistics, and warehouse processes
• Recommend and help implement digital tools, automation technologies, and scalable solutions
• Work closely with the Data Analyst and the Customer Value Team to translate insights into action
• Drive implementation projects with operational teams, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable impact
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure success (e.g. error reduction, time savings, process automation rates)
• Support a culture of continuous improvement using methods like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
